Well, I just had to run and check this out for myself today. Macy’s is having their annual denim sale. For every denim item you purchase, you receive a $10 macy’s voucher.  There isn’t a lot left but I did notice that the boys section had an entire rounder with jeans marked $12.00.  Here is the scenario:
First Transaction: Purchase 1 Pair of Jeans – $12.00 (Use any type of coupon with this transaction)
Pay $12.00 get back $10 Macy’s Cash
Second Transactions:
Purchase 1 Pair of Jeans – $12.00 (Can’t use any additional discount on this transaction)
Use the $10 Macy’s Cash
Pay Out of Pocket: $2.00
Get Back: $10 Macy’s Cash

in a lil bit of a funk

I am sooooo looking forward to the new year i know it will be a great one especially being that my bday will be 11-11-11 too cool . A fresh start so many goals that i am gonna push myself to achieve one being to try new ways to save money and try a healthier approach to cooking as well as try more new dishes then become more organzied and more thrifty then i am now lol yes i believe i can do it!!

the day after christmas

 Seeing i was more excited then the kids i barely slept christmas eve and was so thankful that the wrapping was done in advance and the tree was fully loaded up by 1030 . As i said i couldnt sleep so i spent most the night checking the clock and woke the kids up by 7 yes i woke them lol . Christmas eve in our house is always a lil sad because Reece always acts out he fears not recieving a christmas due to the fact he never had one prior to moving here . Christmas eve we braved the mall and had one of the worst experiences at IHOP ever it was a lil busy in there and our server was overwelmed and was very rude we are understanding since we have worked in the resturant business and know how stressful it can be but personality goes a long long way. So yes i am a lil ADD and jumping topics but after opening a ton of presents like really really a ton we spend hours taking the toys out of the billion twist ties and plastic the kids finally get to enjoy the toys . After 10 min of playing my oldest looks at me and says im bored i nearly lose it . Lunch then nap then off to nanas to spend an awsome evening in which i realize how lucky i am to have so an awsome big family and the kids walk out beyond spoiled by love and a carload of toys to which i am now sitting here dreading trying to find room to place all these wonderful gifts..........

the official start to a short christmas break

 this day my goal was to get a cute pic because i had found an awsome deal on christmas cards but the sale ended that day and as you can see Tyson was grumpy and in no mood to smile oh well still cute !!

i will officially be done working in 1 hr i tend to find myself going over board on Christmas and birthdays to compensate the boys horrid past of never truly getting a Christmas and because of all the abuse and neglect they have endured in their short lives only to sit back and think that it does not erase anything they have been through. I love Christmas and all the holiday fuss but being sick with a sinus infection has put a damper on my spirit as well as my daughters third birthday . Currently Tyson and Reece has come down with a lil cold as well ughh please vitamin c kick in and help us feel better for the big morning we have all been working so hard to create. I almost feel i am more excited then the kids for Saturday morning its been killing me to not "test" out the new Wii i bought at the beloved black Friday sales =)

a new place to let my thoughts escape this crazy head of mine

here's to a new place i can vent and discuss my thoughts and feelings i have 3 beautiful foster to adopted children in which i love beyond words can say but sometimes i question my decisions as a parent which I'm sure all of us do at some point and time. my family is not perfect by any means but no matter what my family is my top priority and i will do anything i can to give these gifts (that were given to me) the best chance at life. so on this page i would  love to just vent and sue this as a tool to possibly hear stories from other parents and share helpful tips and great conversations .  thank u to any and all who stopped by!    Cj

my first thoughts

This is a little area for me to vent and get my thoughts outta this mixed up confused mind of mine . As a parent of 3 children that we foster to adopt i sometimes question the decisions i make as a parent not questioning the decision of did i make the right decision in adopting these beautiful children but just the things we do or say as parents. Here's to being able to get the thoughts outta my head not for anyone in particular to read just as a tool for myself and possibly a tool to have intercation with other parents going through similar situations .
